Before my xbox 360 even arrived I was thinking about modding it. I
think the ability to mod the 360 is another one of the tipping points that pushed me over the
edge in purchasing the 360. While you can’t currently use
homebrew apps on the 360, I’m hoping you will be able to sometime in
the future. After a week of having the xbox I decided to purchase a mod-chip for
it.

Graphics Make Games Fun AgainMan am I glad I got the Xbox 360 Elite. The graphics are absolutely amazing. Before getting one I really didn’t think of the next-gen consoles (Sony PS3, Nintendo Wii, Xbox 360) as a revolutionary change in the gaming industry like other consoles generations have been. I knew the technical specs sounded great on paper, but I didn’t think the graphics held up to my standards. After playing Lost Planet for a few hours, I can say the graphics / visuals are definitely revolutionary.

Laura and Shiner Move In Laura and Shiner moved from Austin to Dallas this past weekend. I flew down and moved all the stuff to my new place. This post also contains a sub-story (read: rant) Why I hate Southwest. Blog Post This is another one of those long posts. So I just grouped it into this long frontpage item. San Francisco: Update1So, I decided to fill you all in about my trip to San Francisco. For some reason I was really in a writing mood or something, so the post is pretty long. I only described my first day (Sunday) in San Francisco, so I might try to update you on the rest of my mini-trips from the rest of the week later. The first day was the most eventful anyways. I’m headed to San Francisco at the end of the month for a Microsoft Project Server Boot Camp. After writing the above articles, I’m too lazy to write anything more. Hopefully I’ll remember to write an update later.
